Originally from Sioux Falls, Joe spent his childhood between Parkston and Sioux Falls. Helping on the family farm in Parkston gave him a valuable perspective on agriculture that many of his Sioux Falls peers did not have.

At South Dakota State University, Joe played club baseball and later became a founding member of the club golf team, serving as its president.

Joe brings a competitive spirit, diverse experience, and a background in banking and insurance to the land market, helping create alignment across a wide range of ventures.
