Prior to joining NAI Sioux Falls, Steve founded Shaykett Appraisal Company, Inc. in Sioux Falls in 1984, establishing it as a full-service appraisal firm. Before that, he spent 10 years in Kansas City working as an appraiser while also serving as a broker with the Shaykett Agency in Miller, South Dakota. Over the last four decades, Steve has owned and developed office, retail, industrial, and multi-family properties in Sioux Falls, either individually or as a managing partner. He also maintains ownership interests in agricultural properties.
